Prep Time 15 minutes mins
Cook Time 20 minutes mins
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 pinch garlic powder
- to taste salt and pepper
- optional celery sticks, carrot sticks, or tortilla chips
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). If you’re using a stovetop method, you can warm the mixture in a small skillet over low heat instead.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, and garlic powder. Mix until everything is evenly incorporated and the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.
Fold in half of the shredded cheddar, reserving the other half for topping. Taste and adjust with salt and pepper if needed.
Spread the mixture into a baking dish or an oven-safe skillet. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar on top for a bubbly, golden crust.
Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the cheese on top is melted and lightly golden. If you like a crustier top, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end, watching carefully to avoid burning.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. This helps the dip set slightly, making it easier to scoop.
