Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken tenders
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400F and set up a breading station with two shallow bowls. In the first bowl, whisk eggs and milk to make an egg wash. In the second bowl, mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels. This helps the coating adhere and stay crisp.
  • Dip each tender into the egg wash, letting excess drip off, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture. Lightly press the coating to help it stick.
  • Arrange the coated tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly brush or spray the tops with a little olive oil to boost crispiness.
  • Cook for 8 minutes, then flip the tenders and cook for another 4–5 minutes until the coating is golden and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F.
  • Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauces.
