Cook Time 20 minutes mins
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a shallow bowl, combine breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to evenly distribute the spices.
Dip each chicken tender into the beaten eggs, letting excess drip off, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated. Place coated tenders on the prepared baking sheet.
Drizzle or brush the melted butter over the coated tenders. This helps the crust turn golden and stay crisp.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, then switch to broil for 1–2 minutes to achieve extra crispness on top. Watch closely to avoid burning.
Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve with lemon wedges or your favorite dipping sauce.
